Assignees are the Octopus users taking actions on requests submitted by end users to restore their service. Il is very important to give them the required rights, according to their role.

These rights can be accessed through the User module, beneath the Permissions tab. See the page Octopus user accounts.

  • To be able to submit a request through the web portal, all users will need to have the field "Windows username" in their user file completed. This username will be the one to use on the web portal.

3 - Specify the network share that will contain all attached files

The requests and CI's attached files are all kept on your network.
