If you use a remote control software, it is possible to configure Octopus so that it can connect to a workstation 1) from an incident or 2) directly from the
Configurations module.
- Go to "Tools > Options..."
- Locate the sub-section "Remote access program", section "4 - Facultative general options".
- Enter the program name and its parameters.
To use the software from Octopus:
a)
from an incident: position the cursor on the CI in cause. This will make a window appear, giving you access to the CI from the Configurations module or to the remote access software.
b)
from a CI: When you select a CI in the Configurations module, you see the "Remote access" option from the Actions menu.
