Since the Spring 2011 (3.2) version, the default installation location of Octopus is in the following directory:
- For Windows Vista / 7: C:\Users\%HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Octopus
- For Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Application Data\Octopus
Example: C:\Documents and setting\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Octopus
Note: Since the Spring 2011 version, administrator rights on the computer are no longer required for the use of Octopus. Furthermore, the installation directory can be moved or renamed as desired.
